We are currently searching for an Director to join their risk management department with direct report to the VP. The position is located at their office in Columbus, OH. My client is an international Insurance company with worldwide operations.

We are currently searching for an Director to join their risk management department with direct report to the VP. The position is located at their office in Columbus, OH.

You will be responsible for applying actuarial and financial principals and quantitative techniques to all aspects in the design, pricing, and reporting of financial features embedded in insurance products; and to all aspects in the structuring, execution, and reporting of hedges for managing the accounting and economic risk associated with these features.

You will also supervise actuarial students, interns and other technical support staff.

The right candidate has a minimum of 3 years of hedging experience applying hedge finance principles and techniques in an insurance context, has a Masters degree with a quantitative background, Masters in mathematics, statistics, economics or related finance field.

Must have:
Understand hedging
Excellent communication skills
