Our client is one of the leaders on the Financial Markets based in Brussels. As a banking institution, and next to the recent financial crisis, our client is recruiting one Risk Officer specialised in Basel II in order to complete the skills panel in the company.
As the Basel II requirements are aiming for the risk control and awareness calculations, our client decided to put a priority on the Basel II certification and requirements.

The Risk Officer in Basel II certification mission:

 Approval of Basel II implementation with the supervisory branches.
 Constitution of Terms & Conditions with the supervisory branches
 Bring and evaluate the Risk policy requirements
 Certification of new methodologies and reports
 Adjust Basel II measures on a qualitative aspect
 Risk management methodologies
 Internal rating procedures
 Presentation of validation reports to other business lines
 Presentation of validation reports to supervisory authorities
 Help in definition of applicable validation methodologies


To be suitable for this position, you must fill the following criteria's:

 University degree
 A minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting, risk analyst or banking area
 A good knowledge of Basel II regulations
 Strong communication skills
 Autonomous
 Rigorous
 Organisational skills
 Curious
 Perfect knowledge of French and English, Dutch is an asset
